March 2025: Timely Coffees
This March, we feature Timely Coffees!
We started Timely Coffees in 2017 because we wanted to approach coffee differently. For us, it wasn’t just about great coffee (though that’s obviously important) — it was about building a business that reflects our values. We wanted to make sure the people growing coffee are treated fairly, that we minimize our environmental impact, and that every decision we make has a positive ripple effect.
We think the way we do business is just as important as the coffee we roast. For every bag of coffee sold on our website, we plant a tree through Eden Reforestation Projects. It’s one small way we’re trying to give back to the planet and support communities around the world.
We roast all our coffee on an IMF 15kg roaster at our HQ in Bayswater, Western Australia. It’s a small-batch operation, which means we’re able to give every roast the attention it deserves. We work with blends, single origins, and micro-lots, and we take our time to make sure each one tastes its best. The goal is always to highlight what makes each coffee unique, so you get something interesting and delicious every time.
Climate change is one of the biggest challenges the coffee industry faces right now. Coffee plants need very specific conditions to thrive, and rising temperatures and unpredictable weather are making those conditions harder to find. Farmers are having to adapt quickly — sometimes moving their crops to higher altitudes or investing in new methods — and that comes with a lot of cost and uncertainty. That’s why we think it’s so important to support sustainable practices and pay farmers fairly for their work. The best place to find our coffee is on our website, timelycoffees.com.au. If you’re keen to explore, our subscription is a great way to try different single origins — you’ll get something new and exciting with every delivery. Plus, if you sign up for our newsletter, you’ll get 20% off your first order! |
