July 2025: Ghost Coffee

When did you start and what gave you the idea to start? 

We wanted to create a coffee brand that was entirely focused on customisation, and give our customers full control over their coffee.

What makes you unique?

Our coffee community can customise their blends before purchasing. They can adjust sweetness, acidity, and body, and order as little as one bag. We think that’s pretty unique!

What is your roasting process?

We approach roasting with an open mind. Our entire model is based on customisation, so we’re always tweaking and adjusting our roast profiles to make the most of each unique blend that our customers create.

What challenges do you think the industry are facing that coffee drinkers ought to know more about?

One challenge coffee drinkers often don’t hear about is the hidden cost of certification, which can be a barrier for many smallholder farmers trying to access sustainable markets. Alongside this, the industry faces big hurdles like deforestation, climate change, fair wages, and supply chain transparency, issues that impact both the environment and producers at origin.
